Environmental Protection Program

  1. RCCF has been actively involved in reforestation projects in Cebu Province (Mananga Watershed, Sudlon Forest Reservation, Barangay Campo Siete, MCWD reservations, Lusaran Watershed, and Ronda). Additionally, the club had extended its participation in reforestation projects to as far as General Santos City and Zamboanga in Southern Mindanao, in cooperation with other non-government organization or NGO’s such as Cebu City’s FORWARD (Federated Organization of Women Active in Regional Development), Inc., the SWCF (Soil and Water Conservation Foundation, Inc.), and MCWD (Metropolitan Cebu Water District);
  2. Initiated a coastal clean-up with mangrove-planting in Ronda, Cebu and Liloan, Cebu and participated in the observance of international clean-up day every September.

    Participated in the annual Scubasurero – another coastal clean up in Mactan.

  3. Conduct annual tree planting and mangrove planting.
  4. Participate annually in the “Clean-Up the World” Program – a whole day of clean up in an adopted barangay (Brgy. Lahug and Brgy. Capitol, Cebu City).
